BFRIN Participated in the InstaMed "Healthcare Payments Summit 2019". These educational sessions brought Providers, Payers, Healthcare IT Systems and Consumers together. Through innovative demonstrations and social activities attendees gained actionable insights, heard new ideas and previewed the latest technology that will help their organizations perform at a higher standard and achieve new goals.

The Executive Board Members of Living Beyond the Pain Cancer Foundation sponsored an evening of elegance to honor Survivors of Cancer. Philadelphia Eagles' Hollis Thomas was a special guest. Attendees were encouraged to wear a shade of "lavender" in recognition of all Cancers. BFRIN had the privilege of supporting this magnificent event.
Breast Cancer Spa Day 2017

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month 2017, a time to raise awareness, educate men and women about risk factors and screenings, and support those who are fighting, surviving, or undergoing treatment. As a celebration of the strength and commitment of breast cancer survivors, the Alfred Owens Family Life Center in Washington, DC held a special event - Breast Cancer Spa Day 2017.
BFRIN participated in this event, showcasing our products, and the free to low cost services we offer to survivors, their family and community.
BFRIN participates in the WorkReady Program Once Again!

The WorkReady summer models offer educationally-enriched work exposure to in-school and out-of-school youth and young adults, ages 14-21. Participants complete a six-week (120 hours), paid work experience that fosters the skills needed for the 21st century through work-based learning. These models challenge the youths to understand the relationship between work experience, high school completion and credential attainment, and how those variables impact their potential options for the future. This year BFRIN was pleased to welcome interns, Devon Crawford and Bianca Robinson.
Knowledge is Power Seminar
BFRIN participated in the Knowledge is Power Seminar at Sibley Memorial Hospital in Washington DC. The seminar focused on Breast Health, the lastest updates on Mammography Screening, Adjuvant Therapy, Managing the Effects of Radiation, Options in Breast Reconstruction and more. Doctor Maureen O'Donnel, MD, moderated the section dealing with the Breast Reconstrcution Options. BFRIN displayed it's cutting-edge scanning technology that offers custom fitted breast prostheses to breast cancer survivors as an alternative to breast reconstruction.
Purposely Involved N Keeping Individuals Educated
A unique way of bringing the community together through an intervention designed to address some of the psychosocial barriers faced by women requiring mammograms.
At Charm City Run
RUNNING WITH THE DEVILS is a family-friendly, 5K run/walk raising money to help THE RED DEVILS pay for Breast Cancer Survivors' transportation to treatment, meals and groceries, house cleanings, medical expenses, and other services that can be obstacles or burdens as they go through treatment.
Breast Care Post Care
Free Seminar, sponsored by Pfizer and Genentech Roche at Philadelphia's Central Library - Providing an open forum of communication and education between breast cancer survivors & the medical community in relation to breast cancer screenings, mammograms, knowing your personal “normal”, treatment options & post surgical care.
