BreastFest 2018

On Saturday, May 12th, 2018, BFRIN was privileged to participate in the Bebashi Health Festival. This event was a fun-filled day of information and interactive educational sessions concerning breast cancer in women of color. There were on-sight mammogram screenings and clinical breast exams by qualified medical practitioners for those who were interested. Additionally, there was live entertainment, guest speakers, fitness sessions and fantastic

give-aways!

BFRIN representatives liaised with breast cancer survivors, doctors and other medical professionals; educating them about our nonprofit organization and the services we provide.

We had a new attention-getter - a popcorn maker!! As the scent of butter filled the air, it drew people to our exhibit where they were welcomed to a free bag of popcorn and given information about all the wonders of BFRIN! The popcorn was a hit with attendees and was a tasty treat for all.
